Marco Wirtz

Marco Wirtz is a multilingual lawyer in Belgium specialised in commercial and employment law.

Mr Marco Wirtz mainly handles international mandates in commercial and employment law. He advises foreign companies on cross-border matters such as employment law, secondment, debt collection, commercial contracts and litigation. Mr Wirtz also regularly assists foreign companies in setting up or acquiring companies in Belgium.

In 2011, Mr Wirtz completed his Master’s in European Law at the University of Maastricht, followed by a Master’s in Belgian Law at the University of Hasselt in 2012.

Mr Wirtz was a research fellow at Maastricht University for several years and a lecturer in European Contract Law at Hasselt University. He has also worked as an arbitrator and is the author of a chapter in the standard work „Duiding Internationaal Privaatrecht“ (Larcier, 2014).

Mr Wirtz has been a lawyer since 2012 and is a co-founder of the law firm.
